Estimating the OD

  • Determine the gauge and type of wire.
  • By using CHART – A, determine the O.D. of the wire.
  • Determine the number of conductors to be used in the MB Cable.
  • By using CHART – B, determine the O.D. Factor.
  • Multiply the O.D. of the wire by the O.D. Factor to estimate the O.D. of the MB Cable
